Assist-Travel/Transport

To help NDIS participants reach their goals, JMT MERCY CARE offers Travel & Transport Assistance. This service is offered in conjunction with other programs, not on its own.

If a participant has a disability that prevents them from using public transportation without significant difficulty, they can often seek funding through the NDIS for transportation support.

Participants may do everyday duties with the use of travel support, which satisfies their urge to lead sustainable lives.

JMT MERCY CARE can assist you with the following everyday duties to enhance your quality of life:

  • Take your support worker with you to the store.
  • Use public transportation.
  • Pick up your medicines at the pharmacy in your neighbourhood.
  • Show up for your appointments.
  • Participate in community activities such as gatherings, clubs, or groups.
  • Visit the library or a park.
